How do I install AutoCount Accounting?
Installation involves downloading the installer, running the setup, and configuring the database. Ensure you have the necessary system requirements and follow the installation guide provided by AutoCount or Agile X Solution Sdn Bhd.
How do I register for AutoCount?
Purchase a license from Agile X Solution Sdn Bhd (Authorise Dealer of AutoCount Software), then Agile X Solution Sdn Bhd will register via the License Control Center in the software.
How to check license AutoCount?
Go to File > Manage AutoCount Server > Licence Setting
Are SQL Accounting and AutoCount Accounting the same?
No. SQL Accounting and AutoCount are different accounting software brands used in Malaysia. Both offer similar features but are developed by separate companies.
AutoCount Usage & Features
How do I back up and restore AutoCount data?
1. Manual Backup
Go to Tools > Backup, choose a destination folder, and click OK. This creates a .A06 file of your account book.
2. Scheduled Backup
Go to File > Manage AutoCount Server > Scheduled Backup Setting, set your preferred schedule, select the account book(s), and assign a destination. The system will back up automatically as scheduled.
Can I import data from Excel into AutoCount?
Yes, AutoCount allows importing based on your customer’s Excel file. Just use the Universal Import function and do the field mapping accordingly—no need to follow a fixed format. This works for customers, stock items, transactions, and more.
How to issue invoice and receive payments in AutoCount?
Use Sales > Invoice and A/R > Receive Payment. Link payments to invoices to track outstanding balances
How to customize my invoice template?
Go to Tools > Report Designer and edit the layout, logo, or columns.
How to track multi-currency transactions?
Enable multi-currency in system settings, define exchange rates, and assign them to relevant customers/suppliers.
How to manage inventory or stock in AutoCount?
Use Stock Item Maintenance, UOM settings, and Stock Balance Reports to monitor stock levels and costs.
How do I set Reorder Level and Quantity?
Go to Stock Item Maintenance, and under the Reorder tab, set Min Qty, Reorder Level, and Reorder Qty to automate stock alerts.
Can AutoCount handle e-Invoice for Malaysia LHDN?
Yes. AutoCount is among the approved vendors listed for LHDN’s e-Invoice rollout in Malaysia (starting 2024/2025).
How to generate reports like P&L and Balance Sheet?
Use G/L > Financial Reports, select the report, set date range, and export to PDF/Excel as needed.
